Shipments in the United States

No special documentation is required for shipments inside the United States.

Shipments into Canada

For loads exported to Canada; importer is required to have import broker representation at the border station.  Our haulers will coordinate necessary documentation between the nursery and the import broker.  Some varieties for export require an Import Permit issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).  Permits are the responsibility of the importer and must be supplied to Four Seasons prior to load date.   A list of plants requiring permit, and the Application forms for importing are located at the CFIA website(link provided).  All loads for export require inspection by the State of Montana Dept. of Agriculture.  A phyto-sanitary certificate accompanies each load. A small fee is charged for this inspection/documentation.
